VR SCULPTING | with medium (by adobe)

Let me tell you about my latest adventure in the world of VR. I recently decided to try out the updated version of Medium in Oculus and attempt some 3D modeling. I’m not an expert, but I figured it would be a fun challenge.

So, I started with a 2D character of mine, Vic Virus, and attempted to bring him to life in 3D. It was definitely a challenge to navigate the virtual environment and translate a 2D drawing into a 3D model. But, I pushed through and ended up with something pretty cool.

Vic Virus underwent a 2D to 3D VR mutation and turned out to be a wild and colorful cartoon-like character. It was entertaining and even made me laugh a bit at how ridiculous it looked.

That’s what’s so amazing about VR – it can turn even the simplest task into something fun and unexpected. I’m excited to see what other kinds of characters I can come up with next. Maybe I’ll create a giant, fluffy cat with wings or a superhero unicorn with a cape.

Overall, my little foray into VR modeling was a great experience. It just goes to show that you don’t have to be an expert to enjoy exploring new technologies and having some fun along the way.
